The first date!
First and most important you have to get to know your hair. Take a few moments to evaluate your hair. Write down the things you love about it....then the things you hate. Is it curly...or straight...dry...or oily...bangs..or no bangs?
Once you have done this I want you to look through magazines and find hairstyles you just love...cut them out. Place them all out so you can see them. Pick out one that you think would really look good on you. Then compair your hair to that photo.
Face Shape....are they close to the same?
Texture of the hair.
Thick or thin.
Curly or straight
By now you should be getting to know your hair a little better. You should be able to pick out styles that will work with the hair God gave you. Your hair stylist can change many things but it is always best to work with what you have instead of against it. You will find that you will like your hair so much better if you aren't fighting with it all the time.
Once you find a style you like then you are ready to call your stylist....take your photo with you and don't be affraid to inform him/her of any changes you would like to make. Ask your stylist for their opinion.
